Chief Revenue Officer – William Parker

Parker Revenue Growth Strategies is a business management services firm that utilizes the “Organizational Fitness Program” to improve operating systems and results for mid-size companies, non-profits and private equity portfolio businesses. Bill transitioned from leading multi-billion Fortune 100 retail and consumer products manufacturing businesses to entrepreneur and has served as COO/CEO of family owned or private equity portfolio companies for the past 15 years.

We are an outcome driven company that develops business plans and operating strategies that improves revenue, gross margin and earnings in small to mid-size companies with revenues of $5.0 to $50.0 million and EBITDA of $2.0+ million.

Parker was recruited by Oracle Partners to serve as COO for Pharmaca, Integrative Pharmacy, an alternative healthcare retailer and portfolio company. He was instrumental in developing the business plan that led to a large capital raise from a prominent private equity firm. He developed a business plan for Jeanomix, a contemporary sportswear retailer and raised capital from a local private equity firm that enabled the company to open cutting edge and innovative retail stores in California. Parker has turned around 12 companies in Southern California and increased value in each business by executing the “Organizational Fitness” process utilized by McKinsey {7-S model}.

Bill has also served as Vice President of Merchandising, Home Decor for Kmart, Regional Vice President, Stores and Operations, Midwest Zone for Old Navy, Senior Vice President, Stores and Operations for Banana Republic and President, Chief Operating Officer of Gateway Computer Retail Stores.

Utilizing the unique system of ‘Organizational Fitness’, Parker integrates a blend of product development, customer focus, revenue improvement, brand management, private equity and financial talents to provide the global and strategic perspective needed to develop turnaround and revenue growth plans for underperforming companies in today’s dynamic marketplace.

Parker earned his Bachelors’ Degree in business management and economics from Empire State College {SUNY} and has earned a certificate in the Minority Director Development program from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He also completed the certificate program in Retail Management and Strategic Planning at Babson College located in Wellesley, Massachusetts

Bill attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City, which is part of the State University of New York and is a member of the college’s Hall of Fame. He studied textile manufacturing, fashion merchandising, marketing, advertising and brand management techniques.

On Thursday, August 9th, 2018, the Turnaround Management Association granted  Parker the Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) designation. The Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) designation provides evidence of an individual’s commitment to the turnaround and corporate renewal industry and also attests to a level of expertise that non-certified professionals may find difficult to prove.

Giving back to the community, Bill serves as Chairman of the San Diego RiteCare® Childhood Language Center, a speech and language pathology organization, serving children with speech and language disorders. The Center provides its language, speech and therapeutic services to local families and children at no charge. There are 14 Centers in California and operates under the auspices of the California Scottish Rite Foundation, which is led by the Scottish Rite Masons of San Diego.

Bill served our country as a decorated, non-commissioned officer in the United States Marine Corps, and was a Military Policeman, Communications Chief, Infantryman and Platoon Leader.
